Citrus, Marion, Sumter & Lake counties · For local businesses

AI that earns its keep in a local business.

I'm Ben Burdick, an AI engineer in Inverness. I put AI to work inside small businesses without the hype. I built the software my wife's grooming shop runs on, and a real-estate brokerage runs on what I built. If you've wondered whether AI could actually do anything for your business, I'll tell you straight — including when the answer is no.

Not a concept

Already running in real businesses.

Two of them are a short drive from here. The third has been in daily use for months.

Grooming shop

My wife's shop runs on it

Clients, scheduling, and the day's appointments in one place. The staff connect their own ChatGPT or Claude to it, and an AI phone receptionist books appointments straight into it. It runs a real grooming shop in Inverness every working day. One-click demo →

Real estate

A brokerage's own data, in the AI app they already use

A brokerage in Arizona asks questions of its own listing records inside ChatGPT or Claude, privately, in daily use, and it passed the client's own acceptance testing. I now offer the same thing to brokers here. For brokers →

Before AI

Years wiring business systems together

Salesforce development and systems integration for large companies. That's why what I build is wired into the tools you already run and made to keep working after I've left the building.

What I do

Four things, in plain words.

Every one of them starts with a short call and ends with me checking back to see whether it's actually being used.

Get found on Google Maps

Most local customers pick from the map. I make your Google Business Profile, your website, your reviews, and your listings describe one real business, accurately — and I measure the result in phone calls and bookings, not rankings. No guarantees, because nobody honest can give you one.

Get your office using AI safely

On the personal plans, ChatGPT and Claude can use your conversations for training unless you turn that off. The business plans don't, and cost about the same. I set up the right plan, build a few ready-made helpers for the documents you write every week, sit with your team for an afternoon, and check back at day 30.

A straight answer on where AI fits

Half a day in your office, watching how the work actually flows. You get one page: where AI earns its keep, where it doesn't, and what it would cost. I'll talk you out of the wrong project as readily as into the right one.

Bigger builds, when they're earned

If your work is confidential — a law office, an accountant, an insurance agency — or your business runs on data spread across two or three systems, there are private, purpose-built setups for that. They all start with the half-day assessment, never with a sales pitch.

The rule

If one extra job a month doesn't pay my fee, I'm the wrong guy for you.

A tree removal, a roof, a new patient, a new case — those pay for a month of my help many times over. A haircut doesn't. I'll say so on the first call, and point you somewhere cheaper if that's the honest answer.

Measured in calls and bookings

Not traffic, not rankings, not a colorful chart. The number that matters is whether the phone rings more and the calendar fills.

Your accounts stay yours

Your Google profile, your domain, your data. I work from my own login, never your password, and you keep everything if we part ways.

Honest about AI

I'll tell you where AI is the right tool and where a plain spreadsheet or a phone call wins.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one is ten minutes.

A short call

What you sell, who calls you, what's not working. If I'm the wrong fit, I'll say so and you've lost ten minutes.

Half a day in your office

I watch how the work actually flows and where the phone rings. You get a one-page verdict: what's worth doing, what isn't, and what it costs.

Build, then check back

We do the thing that's worth doing. Thirty days later I come back and look at whether it's being used, because nothing in a small business adopts itself.

Get in touch

I'm local. Let's talk.
